The worst time travel story I have e'er read.

She'due south 1 of those female person leads that read like a dauntless heroine at first glance, but ultimately leaves it up to the hero to save her. She inappreciably provided whatever help to Robin or Nevarre relieve for telling them of the futurity (but even then the information wasn't entirely helpful), knocking Garrick off-balance (but not the gun out of his manus), and shining a mirror'southward reflected sunlight into Garrick'south face (merely Nevarre nonetheless had to kill him). I mean, considering how many times she was pressed upward against Garrick, you'd think information technology'd cross her listen to try and grab for the gun.
And adept lord, doesn't anyone whisper in this book?! Garrick kept overhearing every important conversation, which gave him an advantage.
My complaints aside, this was withal an enjoyable read. The Robin Hood aspect was creatively thought out. I have read other books by Tess Mallory and while I haven't been totally in love with them, they are even so well-written and a corking way to pass the time.
...more than A wonderful romantic time swept novel! A pleasure to notice myself amongst Robin Hood and Lady Marian. Although the principal characters were incredibly exciting themselves, Navarre and Kendra. Incomparably more realistic than most with what adult female actually went through in those times, Mallory was non afraid to write information technology and information technology made for a better read. Though sometimes I did wonder how the Sheriff of Nottingham kept his hands to himself equally much time he spent lonely with Kendra and wanting her every bit desperately. Though sometimes I did wonder how the Sheriff of Nottingham kept his hands to himself as much time he spent alone with Kendra and wanting her as badly. A groovy ending and I look forward to my side by side one. No quotes on this one.
...more Honestly, I was bored at first. Only as the story progressed, I finally can't but put down the book. I particularly dear Kendra'southward practical character and how she is so a adult female in the story. She is strong-willed and almost of the time reckless. Nevarre, is okay although I laughed at his reaction towards Kendra when he finds that he couldn't get rid of her image. I'll give this story of a damsel in distress and a knight in tarnished armor a 5 out of five. Information technology'southward just unique and pretty funny for a first boo Honestly, I was bored at commencement. But as the story progressed, I finally tin can't just put down the book. I especially love Kendra's practical graphic symbol and how she is then a woman in the story. She is strong-willed and near of the time reckless. I can't wait to read more! ...more than
The story itself was pretty good, but what I really loved was the author'south logic. She had her heroine well-equipped and had logical reasons why. She had logical reasons behind the deportment of her characters. At that place was no existence jolted out of the story by the sheer stupidity of some character or other. romance, fourth dimension travel..Robin Hood :) Good combination.
Loved the twist of robin hood, what could be better?
I really tried to like information technology. I really did but there was too much going on in the book.
DNF a few pages into chapter 2. I've hardly e'er seen more poorly-designed characters. DNF a few pages into chapter 2. I've hardly e'er seen more than poorly-designed characters. ...more than
